MAC

I went to my local CCO earlier this month to see what they have in their MAC collections. I found a couple of powders and a blush I really like. So I bought a mineralize skin finish in porcelain pink, a highliter face kit from the hocus focus collection and a blush creme in pleasureful. They are all so cute! My favorite one is the hocus focus highliter kit which comes in two beauty powders in sunsparked pearl(light beige) and pretty baby (light baby pink). The third powder it has is the sheertone shimmer blush in peachykeen (sheertone rose pink). All colors gives a nice subtle highlight with a tint of sparkles on the face.

So lets starts with the hocus focus highlighter kit. I love the design of this kit. It looks like a mini palette that is so stylish and hip. The colors are so gorgeous. The only thing is I wish this kit came with a mini brush like my other palette special edition.

The second item I bought is the mineralize skin finish in porcelain pink which looks like a light golden peachy pink. This is actually my second MSF and the very first one I bought was the natural MSF in medium plus. I really like these MSF as a setting powder or a highliter on my face. The one in natural works well in setting my foundation.

The last item I got is my very first blush creme. I think that's the main reason why I decided to go to my local CCO in the first place to check out if they carry any blush cremes and they do sell some. But the only thing that I don't like about it is that they only carry one kind. So the one they had that day was in pleasureful which looks very dark in the pan but once it is applied on the cheeks it looks like a peachy medium brownish rose. I was excited to use this blush creme and I must say...I really luv it ^_^ It's very pretty! But I still think CCO needs to have more selections of colors in their blush cremes. Sheeesh!

Smashbox

This is my new Smashbox palette that I picked up at Sephora. I couldn't pass up on it since it is so cute. The first three eyeshadows on top are nudes and a highliter. The bottom three are my favorites. Check out the swatches.

Coastal Scents Brow Palette

I'm always looking around for a really good eyebrow palette to fill in my sparse eyebrows. I have to admit, I over plucked 'em during my teen years. Why did I pluck my brows on my own and not have it professinally done? Well, I was really scared of waxing my brows when I was younger. That's why! But now in retrospect, it was a lesson learned. So I'm always in a hunt to look for the best eyebrow palette and so far I really like the Anastasias, although I don't own it yet, I am thinking of buying it in the future. Instead, I bought the Coastal Scents Brow Palette. So here are my thoughts on it.

First of all, I love this brow palette! It has four different tones of browns starting from light brown, auburn, dark brown and black. I really like that it comes in four different colors on one palette. Each color can also be applied on as an eyeshadow. This brow kit comes with a brush applicator to fill in the brows on one end and on the other end, it has a small sponge applicator to apply the color as an eyeshadow. I would definitely recommend this brow kit to anyone.

Harajuku Lovers in Love

I just got my first Harajuku Lovers perfume in Love the other day. I was so excited to receive it. The box is so cute. The doll's face is so adorable. Most importantly, the perfume scent is my new favorite fragrance this summer. I'm so in love with the floral scent. It smells young and fresh that stays on the whole day. I really want to get into collecting each dolls. Sephora is having an awesome deal going on right now on their website. Each doll regularly cost between $30 to $45 bucks and now on sale between $15 bucks for the limited edition and $22 bucks for the original dolls. To top it off, I also received a cute baby blue alarm clock giveaway when you purchase one of the original dolls. How can I pass it up?

Coastal Scents

My first Coastal Scents Palette

Last month, I bought my first Coastal Scents in 88 Piece Makeup Palette. There are eighty-eight matte eyeshadows ranging from different base colors such as white to beige, then it has the regular eyeshadow colors starting with earth tones, moving on to greens, blues, purples, pinks, peaches, browns, coppers and silvers. This palette reminds of my crayola box when I was still a kiddo! But now, I only play and color with make-ups ;-) The eyeshadows are pretty small, but that's ok because the amount of different colors it offers on this palette still beats the price. Another thing about this is that each eyeshadow is packed with colors. They are so pigmented and vibrant. This palette is great for those who are just starting their make-up collections like me. Love it.
